Hi,
I'm installing an on prem cloudnode for a linux customer. We will install it via Technics module.
Customer asks if the cloud node needs to run as root user. If so then is there any explanation that i can provide customer with?

Hello,
it does not need to run as a root user, but running it as one makes things more easy. You can make a user for the node process that has only access to certain things and certain paths
