Hello Joey,
Please try to export a backup from the server using the command:
./StandardERPServer --backup (For a Server installation on Mac)

If this doesn't work, please send us a detailed log and more information regarding the installation.
(OS of the server, if it's a standalone installation, size of the database, etc...)
